

Youth Theatre
Shared Chapter works in partnership with theatres, arts organisations and community venues, to deliver weekly projects for 6-25 year olds and adults. These project often lead to a performance or a sharing, using a mixture of existing scripts, new writing, adapted stories and devised work, alongside the text using ensemble work and physical theatre.
With a wide experience of working with young people from all walks of life, including vulnerable young people.

Directing, devising and delivering projects with early years – adults, particularly specialising in 6-19.

Working with weekly groups to direct full scale performances, festival length performance, and short shows for multi group platform performances.

Working as part of holiday provisions to direct ‘Play in a week’ or to deliver one off workshops.

Writing scripts

Working with other artists in collaboration, combining drama with music, dance, puppetry, film, animation and visual artists.
Past projects have taken place at theatres, arts venues, local schools both primary and secondary, international arts festivals and with outreach groups, creating pieces of theatre for both traditional and non-traditional settings.
International festivals and exchanges

Touring youth theatre groups to residential International Arts Festivals and Arts exchanges including Grenoble, Bonn, and Venice.

Delivering workshops and directing performances with groups of multi national young people as part of MESH - Oxford' International Youth Arts Festival and the Rencontres du Jeune Théâtre Européen in Grenoble.
